Elise NOEL

Elise was born and raised in the countryside of southern France, and studied product design for six years before accidentally falling into the jewellery world in London, in her early twenties. (Very much a happy accident).
First in retail, then as a workshop assistant, to finally production manager, for six years. There, part of her role involved sourcing all kinds of gemstones for clients, and she was lucky enough to see countless beautiful pieces of jewellery being made.

Alongside her work she never stopped drawing, and it is after years of brewing ideas in her head and on paper that she started wax carving them to life.

She has now moved to work as a jewellery designer in Edinburgh, where she can see a castle perched on a rock everyday, which is pretty cool. Her inspiration comes from many places, from gothic architecture and the aesthetics of stained glass windows, to symbolic images and imaginary world.
